ANDRUSKEVITCH ADDS ANOTHER POWRi MICRO WIN AT FAYETTE COUNTY

BROWNSTOWN, ILL. (June 13, 2019) – Earning his 11th-career POWRi Engler Machine & Tool Outlaw Micro League victory, Aaron Andruskevitch of Riverton, Ill. did so on Thursday night in dominating fashion, snagging a wire-to-wire win at Fayette County Speedway in the Illinois SPEED Week opener.

With a field of 31 entries on hand, four heat races and a B-Main filled the docket ahead of the 20-lap main event. Harley Hollan, Jeremy Camp, Aaron Andruskevitch and Scotty Milan picked up heat race wins, with Andruskevitch’s fifth-to-first bid earning him high point man honors.

Starting on the pole position, Andruskevitch survived a string of early cautions and drove away to score his 11th-career POWRi Engler Machine & Tool Outlaw Micro League victory with an impressive run.

Riley Goodno of Knoxville, Iowa chased Andruskevitch to the stripe with a solid second-place finish, but all eyes were on Joe B. Miller of Millersville, Mo., who came roaring from 21st-to-third and claimed a podium finish. Rounding out the top ten at Fayette County was Gunner Ramey in fourth, Allen Cope in fifth, Jake Galusha in sixth, Trevin Littleton in seventh, Kyle Schuett in eighth, Jake Cheatham in ninth and Jeremy Camp in tenth.

Continuing tomorrow night with the second of four rounds, Illinois SPEED Week will move on to Jacksonville Speedway for a Friday, June 14 showing. A Saturday, June 15 appearance at Macon Speedway will lead into the finale on Sunday, June 16 at Lincoln Speedway.

For fans unable to attend in-person, Speed Shift TV will have you covered with a live pay-per-view broadcast of all three nights. Head over to www.speedshifttv.com to order your viewing pass today!
