Dillon McCowan scores sixth Top-10 finishes in second week of Hell Tour

Tagging along for the second week of the Hell Tour, Dillon McCowan traveled to Davenport (Iowa) Speedway on Tuesday afternoon and joined a 38-car DIRTcar Summer Nationals field.

Moving into a transfer spot in his heat race, McCowan started 12th in the quick 30-lap feature to land inside the Top-10 in ninth.

Switching gears to the much slicker Adams County Speedway (Quincy, Ill) on Wednesday, McCowan finished third in his heat race and once again started 12th in the $5,000-to-win A-Main. After 30 laps, Dillon recorded his second ninth-place finish of the week.

At Spoon River Speedway (Canton, Ill.) on Thursday, McCowan went from sixth-to-fourth in his heat race before making up two more spots in the 30-lap feature to finish 10th.

With the first $10,000 prize up for grabs at Brownstown (Ill.) Bullring on Friday, Dillon recorded his best finish of the week with a sixth-place outing in the 40-lap feature.

Winning a heat race at Federated Auto Parts I-55 Raceway (Pevely, Mo.) on Saturday, McCowan started fourth and faded during the 40-lap feature but still managed a Top-10 finish in 10th.

Capping off the week at Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway on Sunday, Dillon started 11th in the $5,000-to-win event and recorded his sixth Top-10 in a row.
