Big Frog Motorsports rolls into second week of DIRTcar Summer Nationals

With one week in the history books, Tyler Clem and the Big Frog Motorsports team joined the DIRTcar Summer Nationals at Davenport (Iowa) Speedway on Tuesday afternoon to kick off the second week of the Hell Tour.

Among a strong field of 38 Late Models, Tyler finished runner-up in his heat race and made up two spots in the very quick 30-lap feature to finish sixth.

Switching gears to the much slicker Adams County Speedway (Quincy, Ill) on Wednesday, Clem snuck into the A-Main after snagging the final transfer spot in the last chance showdown. With another $5,000 payday on the line, Tyler finished 15th.

Taking a provisional to start Thursday's A-Main at Spoon River Speedway (Canton, Ill.), Clem stormed forward from 21st in the 30-lap feature to finish inside the Top-10 in ninth.

For the first $10,000-to-win show of the week, Clem earned a spot in the Brownstown (Ill.) Bullring A-Main after a third-place run in his heat. With 40 laps to work with, Tyler started and finished 12th.

At Federated Auto Parts I-55 Raceway (Pevely, Mo.) on Saturday, Tyler once again charged through the field after going from fifth-to-first in his last chance showdown and 17th-to-8th in the 40-lap main event.

Wrapping up the week on Sunday afternoon at Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway, Clem recorded his fourth Top-10 outing of the week in ninth.
